Name:Jack Alexander Golden
Nicknames:Jag, Jaggy, Golden-boy
Age:17
Gender:Male
Race:Human
D.O.B:04.06.91
Place of Birth:Chicago, Illinois
Height:6’00’’
Weight:157 lbs.
Eyes:Silver-Gray
Hair:Jet black and styled in a “Scene” fashion; meaning that the front ends near the tip of his nose, the sides hang past his chin, and the back is two inches in length and spiked up in random directions. It appears very piece-y.
Skin:Tanned
Other defining Features: Several piercing: A tongue piercing, a set of snake bites, and three piercing in his left ear.
Style of Clothing:Jack’s clothes are usually tight and have obscure band names written across his t-shirts. He can always be seen with a pair of headphones. Because he lives in a world of more powerful creatures Jack has a large wrench “holstered” to his right shin.
Personality:At first glance one can tell that Jack is a very kind and friendly person. A wide smile is almost eternally spread across his tanned face and his silver eyes are filled with childlike innocence. He is very talkative and has a drive to make friends with everyone he meets, no matter what race they are, though other people are usually turned off due to his narcolepsy. If someone were to actually be able to deal with this problem they would find that he is a very polite person who loves to have fun.
Even in a world of mythical races Jack is considered odd. Since a young age his very spiritual mother has instilled in him that all races should live in harmony while his gruff father taught him that he should stand up against what he sees as wrong, even if others view it as right. While not immediately conflicting with each other these teachings sometimes clash and cause Jack to fall into a “narc-coma”, a nickname for when he falls asleep. Beside his problems Jack has an insatiable urge to disassemble things. For most of his life the boy has taken things apart and after encountering hundreds of problems he also learned how to put many things back together, making him a skilled machinist. He can assemble, and disassemble, most household electronics and items and he even knows a bit about car repair.
Though he’s usually happy Jack can be thrown into fits of anger if he’s awoken by external means. Usually the anger is more comedic than serious but if certain things are thrust upon him after he’s awoken his anger will manifest into something serious. His anger usually passes quickly but not before striking whoever angered him or causing them some sort of pain.
Family:
History: Born in Chicago, Illinois into a loving family Jack was named after the story of “Jack and the Giant Beanstalk”, since it was Jack’s mother’s favorite story as a child. His life was rather boring for the most part except for the discovery of his narcolepsy at the age of four. At first his parents thought he wasn’t getting enough sleep but after watching him for days they took him to a doctor who diagnosed the boy with the mental disease. He was given several drugs to take but his spiritual mother would not allow her son to use the drugs. Instead she attempted to cure him through meditation and other more spiritual forms.
The meditation helped somewhat but did not completely cure the boy of his disease. It has become a smaller problem in his life in the more recent years. During this meditation time he and his mother began to speak of the different races of the world. It was then that Jack’s fascination with the other races began. His mother told him bits and pieces of their cultures while teaching them how to act around them. His father became upset by this and began to spend time with his son as well, taking him around the house when ever he repaired anything.
Sadly by doing that his father gave Jack one of his stranger quirks. By watching his father disassemble things and fix them he instilled in the boy’s mind that he could fix things by breaking them. Soon things around the house that had been fixed had been found taken apart. This continued for years, until Jack was thirteen. When Jack was eight his first sibling was born, just days before the family moved to New York. Once in New York Jack began to view many different cultures and cliques and eventually found one that he enjoyed partially. He fell into the emo clique for a time but after being insulted so many times he drifted into its sub-culture, “Scensters”. Again the boy drifted away from that clique and began to shun the whole clique system, although he still dresses and listens to the same music as the clique.
Medical Conditions: Narcolepsy and “OCD”
Alliance:Neutral
Living Arrangements: 1300 Ash Lane, Cinder Horse
City: Haliburgh
Job:Cashier at Cosmos Video, attends Haliburgh High
Pets: Doberman named Hades
Other:Jack’s “OCD” is his desire to take apart machines and then put them back together. The urge to do it strikes him randomly and if he does not do it he often falls into a “narc-coma” and his automatic behavior will kick in and he will disassemble the object while asleep.
